Haval H6 is the main model of Haval brand. On August 25, 2011, Haval H6, which is positioned as an urban intelligent SUV, was launched in Great Wall Motor's new factory in Tianjin. It provides Mitsubishi 2.0L gasoline powered models and Lvjing 2.0T diesel models, which are divided into three versions: urban, elite and noble. The price of gasoline vehicles is 888-162800 yuan, and the price of diesel vehicles is 1218-141800 yuan.
At the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show, the new generation Haval H6 was officially launched, with a total of six models featuring two types of power, priced between 118800 and 146800 yuan. The new car basically continues the current design style, and the biggest change is to add a 2.0T+7-speed double clutch Powertrain. 
At the 2018 Guangzhou Auto Show, the Haval H6 Champions Edition was officially launched, with a price range of 10200-134000 yuan. The new car is further upgraded on the basis of the Haval H6 and has added an intelligent internet system.
On August 23, 2019, Haval officially announced the launch of two new sports models, the H6, with a price range of 10400 to 114000 yuan.
On September 5, 2019, Haval announced the official launch of its Haval H6 Platinum Commemorative Edition at the 2019 Chengdu Auto Show. The new car features a total of 7 models, with an official guide price of 1040-13600 yuan.
As of January 2022, it has won the domestic SUV sales championship for a total of 102 months.
On December 12, 2019, the new Haval H6 GT version was officially released and launched, with a price of 13000-141000, equipped with a 2.0T+7DCT Powertrain, and it only takes 7.6s to accelerate a hundred kilometers. The exterior and interior of the new Haval H6 GT version are designed with a sports package.
On July 24, 2020, the third generation Haval H6 was unveiled at the 23rd Chengdu International Auto Show.
On March 23, 2021, Haval H6 China-Chic version was officially launched.
In August 2022, Haval H6 Super Hybrid DHT was unveiled at the 25th Chengdu International Automobile Exhibition.
On September 28, 2022, the Haval H6 officially launched the H6 DHT-PHEV model with the green license plate.
